Phosphorous has more known functions in the animal body than any other mineral element. The close association of phosphorus with calcium in bones is extremely important. Like calcium, phosphorus is required for bone formation and a deficiency can cause metabolic bone disease amongst other illnesses. Reptiluxe Calci-Phos provides calcium with phosphorus in the ideal ratio of 2:1. Extra calcium may be required at times of egg laying. Use in conjunction with a suitable UVB light source.

Instructions for use: Calci-Phos is especially suitable for herbivorous lizards, turtles and tortoises. Simply add half a teaspoon to moistened salad on a daily basis, ensure it is mixed well. The ultra-fine consistency of Calci-Phos ensures that it can also be used as an insect dusting powder for omnivorous and carnivorous species.
